The Harvestman is a new killer that Im creating, influenced by characters like the Jeepers Creepers creature, and Slenderman. Im making it to use as a character for an RPG, of course. But anyone interested in the character can feel free to use it for thier own RPG's. Its not easy coming up with an original killer character, but I think I have come up with asome new interesting angels. Besides being inspired by Slenderman and others, one of the ides for him came from an image, not to get to deep but, it was one of the paintings depicting Dante's Infrno, which I believe where part of the original text. Actually just now I looked it up, it comes from the French printmaker Gustave Doré (1832 – 1883). Here is a part of that painting/etching? The guy kneeling is Dante. Well, in order to make a good supernatural killer you need an interesting background, the problem as always is coming up with something original, you be the judge. The Myth: Lucifer was the first angel created by God, but there came a time when Lucifer rebelled, no longer willing to be subserviat to te will of God Lucifer set out to defy him, to become God himself. God loved Lucifer and hoped he would remain faithful to him, so in order to qiull Lucifer's desire God created a companion for him, someone to esentially keep Lucifer out of trouble. Although his b ecoming hapened long before the creation of the universe God had taken various parts of those creatures and beings which Gof would ultimatly create and deposit upon a newly created Earth. The being was created from the bones of a man of prophecy, the blood of a demon of wrath, the spiritual skin of God, the viscera of a Nephilim, and the soul of a human who would live under a curse. Oribginally he was simply known as the Solar Sentinel, after he was created he and Lucifer became inseparaable, he had calmed the 1st angels rebelious desires, but he was also charged to keep Lucifer in line, something which the 1st angel did not appriate, someone more important to God then Lucifer had been himself. Ultnatly Lucifer did rebel, and the other angels were forced to fight and eventually cast him out of heaven. The hostility which the other angelas had to unleash upon Lucifer was something new in the divine realm and so God rid heaven of this hostility by mhaving his Solar Sentinel absorb it, in order to keep it in check. This burdeon no doubt had an adverse effect on the 2nd Angel. The Harvestman is driven by hatred and rage toward the Earth and thereby its inhabitants, for it luring Lucifer away from service to God. The Legend: After the creation of the Earth and of mankind the Solar Sentinel decented upon the earth, there he would spend his life evolving along side mankind. Becoming the Harvestman, the creature was known for its unsavory and discusting appitites. Amoung other things the creature was said to resemble an archnid, possessing 6 arms, all of which were kept close to its body, to maintain its deception as being human. The creature has no facial features, it generates (mouth, eyes, nose) depending on what it needs to do at that time, to see, to eat (dont ask), to hear. The Harvestman leaves behind footprints which become hundreds of tiny spiders, though this was thought to simply be insects coming up from the ground. Traits: Right before the Harvestman kills someone it tells ythat person something theyve always wanted to know, a persoanl secret that it gives the answer to. When in close proximity to the Harvestman all sound is muted. Every few weeks the Harveastman needs to occuipiy a new flesh siut, the decomposing flesh of humans is taken from grave sites.

It was 45 minurtes later when Kluas Raimund, in his British disguis, sghowed up at the airport to meet Abigial, who had already standing near the boarding line. Franklin stepped up beside Abigial. "I have arrived Professor McHugh, all is ready on the other end. There is an airforce base just out side of the occioied zone, it is from there that the flights in and out of Berlin originate. I have already aquired the proper permissions from my contact at the British embasy which will aloow us to board one of the planes. He has informed mne tyhat we must find our own way of taking the device off of that plane, and we only have one hour to accomplish it."

Benjirou had lost one of his preciius phto's, it falling from his sactchal and blowing away in an arrent wind. The phot landed agaight the base-wall of the tavern so that the image of positive and negative shades was facing out toweard the street. The photo was one of those Benjirou had taken of Pete's tavern prior to the shooting. Uopon leaning over to pick up the flown-away phto Benjirou noticed something very strange, an aspect of the image wghicgh had not revealed itself upon fisrt glance. The phto was that of the bare frontage of the tavern, a clean and clear shot of the front window, although the sun had prvented him from capturing any detail witihin the tavern, the bright sun which had struck the glass surface produced back flash effect. Thiugh the sun had blotted out all detail Benjirou could see a vague outline within the white flash-A dark and twisted human form fused within the glare.
--------------------------------------------------------------
As Amy stood and glarerd at the young guy standing outside the tavern, her glance shifted briefly to the strange eeie girl standing directly behind the Asian youth. The momentary distraction was corrected by a sudden clinking of glass as one of the police officers bumped a table with his leg. Looking back Amy notiedced the girl's absence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking passed an old biulding Alisha caught a brief glimpse of a person who seemed out of place somehow, particularly for this part of town. The person seemee to be that of a young gilr with unusuallu long black hair, all of which had been pulled over her front, thereby blocking out all featutes, save for the general outline of her body.

Franklin liad out the general plan. "Well, everything is settled and waiting. My friend, who is head od secutiry for Hieldleburg Air Force Base has insured me that he will do everything he can to keep the plane on the runway for an hour. He will provide some type of distraction which should delay the flight long enough for us to due our part. Once we get rthere he will escort us to the runway, from there we will secure a forklift abnd removed the prize." Franklin looked around the air crafdt before leaning closer to Abigial so that only she may hear the last bit of plan. "We will simply wait in one of the hangers untill night, in the morning its simply a matter of reserving the next flight out. We will load the device into the plane and be off within minutes."

ASTORIA,OREGON Samuel Lovecraft had been brought up on old sea tales his grandfather would churn out after every hardy sit-down family meal. His father certainly told enough tall tales of his own to keep Sam's imagination sharp, he also many quite a few stories to tell, being a professional scavenger and all. When Sam was young he would often make up his own stories and tell them to father and Grandpoo, as he called him. Bartholomew Lovecraft had lived an amazing life filled with outrageous adventures, "He has a great story for every hour of the day of a three day weekend," which was Bartholomew's son's favorite way of describing of his own father to those who didn't know him. The wealth of personal experience was no doubt the result of his advanced age, after all the man had literally grown up with the country, being born in 1851. In 1810 his father had come to Oregon as a member of the Astor Expedition, sent by John Jacob Astor's Pacific Fur Company, and would ultimately found Fort Astoria as its primary fur-trading post in the Northwest, this was also the first permanent U.S. settlement on the Pacific coast and an extremely important post for American exploration of the continent. Situated near the mouth of the Columbia River, Astoria was named after the John Jacob Astor, the Lovecraft family would settle near the Port of Astoria; roughly two miles from the Megler Bridge which connected Washington across the river. The most senior Lovecraft had worked for the Pacific Fur Company for over 30 years, Sam's grandfather had come to the company less then a year before its ultimate demise, though the company had been in decline for many years prior to its liquidation. The 290-ton trading ship named the Tonquin was blown up in Clayoquot Sound when its efforts to trade were turned into an attack by Tla-o-qui-aht in revenge for an insult by the ship's captain. The sole surviving crew member, after the rest were killed, set fire to the ship's magazine in order to destroy the ship. Many natives were killed, and only one crew member survived to tell the tale. That brave crew member was Sam's grandfather, and his remembrances of that event were fuel for many a bedtime story. Nothing puts a child to sleep faster then a tale of high adventure at sea. Recently, Sam has had an itch to try and scavenge the wreckage for possible items of worth, though he seriously doubted that he would find anything beyond a few personal crew items.

Klaus had prepeared for every concoievable question that might arise within Abigial's mind, and so when sghe aslked him details concerning those parties interested in the device, he simoply went through the preperartion. "Well, origijnally I was asked to retrieve the device by the British Army. They feared that the Sovietes, ort worse yet the Nazi might discover it. You see, the Germans only knew of the device in its planning stages, that docuent detailing the device was all that existed, or so they thought. My assignment was to prevent these parties from possessing this most awsome power." What Abigial had no way of knowing of course was that Klaus' only intention was to retrieve the device for his own purposes. "As to who has abducted Walter, Im not entirly certain." This was another lie. "There is one person, I met her while I was undercover at an American base, she had infiltrated the unit for some reason, which I have been unable to ascertain." They had in fact been stationed there together, thier mission had been to gather information of the Ameriacn involvemt in the first few years of the war. What Klaus himselrf did not know was where Charlotte's current allegiances lay. "Its always difficult to tell who is on what side in the spy biusness. Its hard to unravel things, its a lot like many Occult lodges, the point at which one secret society is simply a mask for another. Im sure Walter could confim this, you see that is how we met. Im sure how much you know about professor Miller's interest in regards to the Occult, but we belong to the same lodge a few years ago." This one statement was the only timer Klaus had spoken the truth since he first met Abigial. A small staircase consisting of six steps had been pulled up to the main hatch as Kluas and Abigial exited the aircraft. The two of them walked the tarmack back toward the hangers to the left of the main biuidling, Franklin turned his head as he walked and informed Abigial as to where they would meet thier contact. As they walked they both cast several glances to the right to see the DC-4 that Frankilin had mentioned. "There it is." Franklin said to Abigial befoe turning his head back to face front. From one of the hangers came the man who Kluas had arranged to serve as his contaxct, this person was not what Klaus had claimed howeever, the man was simply acting the part out.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Walter was a profitiant packer, he sokmehow always knew exactly what to bring with him and to what quanty of personal belongings to lug around on an adventure. Everything was well placed and arranged in the small case, trousers, shirts, socks.....Alarm clock!!" Walter had knowniglly grabbed the clock, mistekening it for his revolver-The blonds comment concerning the single bed had throwen off the learned professors concentration. "Um, ah yeah." Looking down at the bed and hiscase he noticed the misplaced item.

Who the hell wants to go to work at a tuna factory rarther go diving for sunken treasure off Devil's reef, it wasnt just theffun of it, there was family history to consider. The ship at the bottom of sound was the sxame exact one that his grandfarther had piloted back in the early 1800s. Sam had heard many stories regarding his grandfathers life and eipirences aboard the vessel, but he had nevber been told exactly wehat happened all those years ago. "I fucking hate Bumblebee tuna." Sam thought to himself as he walked out to his brand new 1968 Vette. The blue sporty car peeled out of the driveway and soon Sam was on his way to the office, his earlier thoughts about his distain for his current employment began to softern somewhat the closer he got to the Bumblebee tuna headqurters. It wasnt such a bad job, Its not like he had his hands stuck in fish guts all day long, no, that sweet smelling duty was reserved for his wife-It made him chucle everytime he thought that. Sam was driving toward the offices along Fleet Street and Dozen Ave. Around Main St Sam saw the young Lily drive passed him going in the opposite direction, he had known her all her life, just like Sam, she grew up and ahad spent her entire life in Astoria, nearly every citizen in Astoria has some kind of ancestral link tio the small town. Seveal minutes after spotting the VW Sam had arrived at compnaty headquarters.

Still others claim it is more of a creature then some kind of anthropological menace.

When it comes to stories about ghosts no place is more famous then the Dark Entry forest, these woodlands stand directly behind the lodge, the woods cover over 40 miles of dense underbrush. In recent years Grizzly bears have shown up in the Colorado woodlands, though no deaths have been reported. Not even these immense beasts could keep the supernaturally curious from venturing into Dark Entry forest. Only one thing is more frightening then the possibility of getting ripped to pieces by a large animal, and it too lays within the woodlands behind the lodge. The old Remington residence stands a few miles into the woods. If one travels in a perfect line, starting from the second ground level window on the right side of the lodge, finding the abandoned homestead is relatively easy. There is only one problem.......
The house is no longer vacant.

The man pretending to be Franklin's contact at the airport approached the couple. "Franklin, its good to see you again. Come on, the hanger with the forklift is over here to the left." With that brief introduction Franklin and Abigail followed the man to the smaller hanger to the left of the airport. The doors of the hanger were open wide, there was nothing inside the smaller hanger save the forklift. "You have one hour to get the cargo off of that plane." Warned the contact. The DC-4 was a few hundred feet from the set of hangers, it was left unguarded and the pilot wasn't due to arrive at the airport for several more hours. The device had been loaded upon the plane in complete secrecy by an unknown party. This suggested to Klaus that the original plans for the device, which Abigail had seen within the folder that Klaus had given to her, were discovered and smuggled out of Germany by a secret order, rather then by Nazi agents. What Klaus had told Abigail about him meeting Walter as a fellow member of a secret lodge was a complete fabrication. Klaus had no informants in Occult circles, most of his knowledge of the black market underworld revolved around paramilitary associations. "Ill get the forklift." Franklin said before walking over to the 3000 pound machine.
