Wade had actually been mulling around the docks since early that morning, every once and awile he would approach the ship and strike up conversations with various deck hands and dock workers. Wade Jackell was esentially layiong downn the ground work for some of the scams which would ultimatly get him aboard the immense boat. As more and more passengers, well wishers, various limo services and such began to show up Wade made his way to the main gate. His morning activites had gotten him to a point where he was about to succesfully board the ship withiout so much as a reservation, his ticket to ride was the success of his cons. The final prearation that needed to be attended to was succuring a room for himself, luckily he had become a qiuck buddy of the cabin steward, with the promise of a half pound of Wacky Weed-Something which Wade was totally unable to produce, though the steward had no way of knowing this. Wade had seen many limos pull up to the ship, he just figured it was some sort phychlogical thing, I mean wjhen your going to take a sea voayage on such a luxjorios ship you want to show up in style. For the most part it wasnt much of a big deal, with the exception of two limos in particualr, the passangers of each vehicle seemed to possess some sort of notiraity. Frankly, Wade hadnt seen a television in some years, except those few that he would pass by in the window of some apartment store as he was passing thorugh a town. On the road you just dont have the oppertunity to keep up with fashions and trends of celebervraity. All he knew was that they were blond and hot, that was enough for him, though for very different reasons then one might think. The other two indivuiguals which Wade had noticed were two men, one of them was younger then the other. The older of the two seemed familiar to Wade, not in the sens of a persopnal knowledge of ones existence, Wade simply knew a cop when he saw one-Having dealt with his fair share. The other persoan was perhaps even younger them himself, much of his youth and attitude was shown by the way in which he manovered through the crowd. The other guy sort of barreled his way through the mass of onlookers and boarding passengers. Wade was standing by the main entrance as he watited for his 'steward' friend to show and inform Wade that he had some new digs. As he stood there he just happen to cast his gaze upward to see some crazy chick with her legs dangling over the railing of the top-most deck. Insnt that what I said, that they are two different beings? Nowhere in the bible is the word Lucifer found, this is based on mistranslation of a certain hebrew word. Lucifer was a Roman god who existed long before there was such a thing as Christianity. Lucifer is a latin word, not a Hewbrew word. The original Hebrew word is 'heylel' it was St. Augustine who confused the line between the latin "lucifer' and the hebrew word for "shining one, morning star" and since Lucifer also shared this title, the two were mixed to form the Chrisiatian notion. And of course Satan is a word which simply means accuser, he is not a demon, angel etc. This confusion is really all the fault of Augustine, Milton, Dante and King James

There was a good side to not having any possessions, unpacking for instance-Its a snap! This was the first thing that popped into Wade's mind as he looked around the room, the sight of his backpack confirmed the idle notion, tossing the 'bag' onto the bed. "There......unpacked!" And with that Wade was out of the door and slowly moving toweard the exit which would take him outside for one final look port-side before it departed. It was getting near to llaunch time and so there were only small packs of well wishers still standing on the docks. Wade could see the last remnats of relatives who had waived thier final tear soaked goodbye's to thier perspective loved ones. It was a time a deep comtemplastion for Wade, desirng in his heart for one single person that might have wished him a happy and safe trip. "Touhing up man, big dudes dont get weepy." -Wades inner voice consoloing him. The brief moment of emotional release was suddenly disrupted by the site of some particuallrly strange indiviguals standing behind the small crowd, they too were in thier own little group-Standing by one of several black sadans as they starred at the Star Liner and its boarded guessts. i.imgur.com/jiNSv.png?1Wade disdnt know what to make of these strabge birds, they werent waving to loved ones. There were a few high profile guessts that were boarded on the cruise, by certainly no one so important as to have an escort of mysterious black clad 'professional' gemntelmen, so to speak. Of course Wade was aware of the cop, or at least the guy whom he had mistaken for a cop some hours ago, though he didnt know anything about the crooked detective and his equally crooked nosed 'assiocaiates'. There sure as hell was no presidant abourd the boat, and these guys wwere pretty clearly of that sort, which is to say that they just might be CIA, or perhasps some other government agency. One of the Men in Black was standing out in front of the others, this was clearly the head guy, though it seemed odd that it was he who approached the ship to board it.

Pretoria University. Pretoria, South Africa. Febuary, 1949
Walter Miller had been back in his native country for the past few years, haviong securred a head posiytion at the SAPR (Siouth African Paranormal Research Inastitute). They had head a great deal about Walter and his expliots into paranormal phenonenon in relation to the Third Reigch, and thereby quiclky snatching him from the mundane world of acedeamia. Walter had learned upon arribvnf at the institute that they had in fact offereed the possesition to his former ccolluege at Marshall collecge, Abigial McHugh. Also leartning that for whatever reasons, that she had turned dowen the appointment. Walter was back on his own turf, and was greately releived to be back in South Africa, he would often startt off lectures with an expression of his joy for having been reunited with his countrymen. On this particualr day Walter was giving a lecture on the growing interest and influence of the myth of Atlantis in the early 'New Age' movement. "Hoe gelukkig dit maak my in staat te wees om met jou te praat in ons moedertaal Afrikaans.....And although I am very happy to have had the opertunity to treach in America at the prestiguous Marshall college in Connecticut, it is especially poijant to me to have this even greater opertunity to lecture here. Let us now turn our attention to the legend of Atlantis, as it was intricducded in Plato's dialogue 'Timaeus' whixh is the very first time the fabled destroyed and sunken city was mentioned........." Soon after the lecture Walter wa making his way acroos univerity grounds to his small appartment acroos from the camous. Before Walter copuld plant a foot on the concrete four-step staircase outside his red brick residance, he was accusted by a black suited man who had been waiting threre for Walter to return to his dwelling. "Professor Miller, please. Do you have a moment." The voice was presumably that of a middle aged Russian male, with no inclination of the indiviguals true German ancestry, which lay buried beneath a thick Slavik accent. The crux of this mans questioning revolved around the current wghereabouts of the professors collecuge Abigial McHugh. Walter had no way of telling who this person was, and therefore no reason to question this indiviguals reasons for desiring to contact his friend. Walter and Abigial had not seen one another in over 2 years, though they kept in contact through mail. Frankly, their years of supernatural treasure hunting were long since over, as a direct relsut of this fact both Walter Miller nad Abigial McHugh had mistakenly assumed that thier involvement was no longer of interest to the political underworld. It was in light of this unfortunate undersimplification of judgement that Walter informed the stranger as to Abigials whereabouts. The thought that he had endangered his collegue quickly faded as Walter focused on discovering the correct key for entering his home.

Even though a flight from Madrid to South African took less then 11 hours it was nearly a week before Klaus Raimund arrived in the Spainsh town of Galicia, lokking around this spectaclular community one could see why someone like Abigial would have chosen such a place. Galicia is known for being completly unlike any other town or city in Spain. Similar to Cornwall and Irekland, the coastline comprises beautiful sandy beaches, flanked by high cliffs and sheltered harbours. The simplest part of tracking down Abigial McHugh was the altering of the accent which Klaus would use in confronting her, knowing that a Russian accent might cause some susoicion in Abigials mind Klaus switchedc to a British mode speach. Klaus had already mapped out his conversation tactics in talking to the professor, much of which would relie upon deception and exageration, he would claim to know information which he couldnt have possiblly recieved from his seconds long conversation with Walter back in South Africa. Through some questuinable means Klaus had learnd of Abigial plight, the fact that her life was totaly depended upon a simple piece of frabric, a material which is suseptible to many forms of possible desctrtion and deterioration. He would present her with the perfect opertunity to put things right in terms of her ability to sustain her life and to bering her back to some form of normality. Kluas had set up a meeting in a local outdoor bar in a fasionable corner of Galicia, there he would lay out his proposition.

Admiral Gallagher jhad not only been directly responcible for Connor's apointment as capptain of the USS Yeager, he also had signifigiant influence in appointing the very first Adellian, one Luatenant Gelbia as chief Helmsmen. His induction into the Federation brought about much controversay, his acceptance as helmsman for the star ship Yeager was met with considerable unease and distrust. Much of the skiptixcism came indiviguals within the Federation, particually from those who had high hopes of being appointed to such poisitions; the fact that Adellians were natural-born helmsmen was thier major concern. Captain Connor had just sterpped up to the activation sensors which cuased the the shuttle bay door to slid open, when he heard Admiral Gallagher call to him from behind. Turning to face his superior Connor was introduced to the newest member of StarFleet, a mysterious alien in a long gray robe who was now standing beside Admiral Gallegher, his head lowered in repsect to Matthew's rank. The Admiral was not predesposed to Connor's attitudes rtoward the Adellians as a species, as a result he wasnt sure if the Captian would react favorably to the induction of this indeivigual into StarFleet and as helmsment othe USS Yeager. The tall, gray clad alien stepped toward the Captain and slowly lifted his head to reveal its pure white complextion and black hollow eyesockets.

Klaus sat in the cafe andc patiently waited for Abigial to make her appearance as, proof that she was sufficantly intriguqed by his offer, only to be confronted by an aggresive and inpatiebnt auburn haired woman. It was qiute obvisou that she had no intention of accepting his grecious offering, at the same time

Klaus could tell that Abigial qwas perhaps a little less weary of him due to his general posture and clean cut demenour, this was one of the things thast set Kluas Raimund apart from the average Nazi agent, he had a disarming aire abiut him somehow. He wore an expensive yet plain siut and exibited non of the brutish traits that Abigial had so deteested in the personalies of an Niclas Elberisch, or Gottberg Von Adelwolf type. This was examplified by Kluas' reaction to Abigials approach, a pleasant smile broke out upon his face as he made the respectful gesture of arising from his chair as she approached. These were perhaps insignifigant actions, but they had achieved the desired effect of alievating some of the tension which she felt as she approached him-These were completly calculated gestures of course, and Klaus Raimund was reknowned for his disarming charm. Klaus arose from his chair as he held out the dossier which he had set out on the table before him. "Im sorry Madame, I will bother you no more. But please, take this folder. In it you will find my credentials, background materials and persoal inforamtion." Klause stood in a fixed position with his right arm extended, the dossier clasped between his thumb and forefinger.

Gelbia was somewhat surprised, buit mostly relieved that the Captain had welcomed him so sivally, he wasnt expecting such a warm welcome, not that one could tell by his largly expressionless face. Gelbia perked up a bit as the Captain started to reference the Vulccans and thier contributions to StarFleet, this was all Gelbia wanted, his only concern was to establsih his species wirthion the Federation. Having no noticable pupil in his black glassy eyes it was very difficult to discern a Adellians expressins of either fear or delight. By the time Captain Connor had begun to express his approval at Gelbia's appointment the admiral had turned and walked away, leavinmg only the Adellian to witness the arrival of Lieutenant Commander S'Krel, who had emerged from the door which lead to the shuttle bay. S'Krel waited for his commander to finish his speech of acceptance before making his presence known to the Captian. Captian Matthew Connor was preoccupied with his overtly humanist lecture, as S'Krel cinicly percieved it; pisocologically, Gelbia was of no assistance in the realization of the Vulcan's sudden appearance behind Captain Connor; with his expressinaless facial features. Nevertheless, the Captain had finsihed his adress to the new Adellian recruit, which allowed S'Krel to reveal himself to his new commander. Takinga few steps forward S'Krel revealed himself to the slighly surprised Captain Connor. "Captain. I shall serve as your second in command abord the USS Yeager. I am S'Krel, son of Spock, your obidiant second." Came the steady and distinct voice of a tall Vulcan dressed in offical StarFleet apperal, his head turned toward Gelbia examining his inapproriate attire and then turned to face his Captain toward the end of his intriopcduction. This reaction was not wasted on Gelbia, who by now was use to such glances of qiuck judgement. The Adellian would responce to this by immediatly whipping off his long gray robe to reveal the StarFleet uniform beneath. This too was not wasted on the Captain, whio immediatly sensed a possible clash of races, a situation which was at odds with the general Vulcan attitude of acceptance toward other beings. Knowing very littltel about the Adellians, the captain wasnt able to percieve thier general attiudes, though he could plainly see Gelbia's frustration.

The punmp finsihed spilling forth the last drop of duiel for Jason's 66' Linchon, this had gone unnotiedced by Jason who was focusing on the notes whixch he had layec out upon the roof of the vehicle, contained in the sriribblings of notes was all pertainant informnamtion on the rash of murders that had been transpirong thorughout the Los Angelos area. One of the mosre important clues for solving the mystey of which supernaturual being or monster was responcible for the meyham. Whatever it was the creature had left behind a mountian of dead Filipiono woman, all of whom had either been pragnant or were young girls going through the stages of growing into adulthood. Another paculair facet of this case was the locales where these brutal attacks had occured, being predomenatly wealthy areas of the city, many of which were located next to bodies of water, whether it be a stream or a pond. "What are the odds of this lastest murder had taken place near a body of water." Jason thought to himself as he began to gather up the outlaid notes and stuff them back into the thicj folder which sat on the driver seat, reaching into the car though the window he slotted the folder backl between the seats. Then after replacing the pump Jason climbed into the Linchon and slowly drove out of the gas station and onto main street, the house in question was about 20 minutes drive from the Shell station. With Jason drivng the tijme to the house was cut in half as his car peeled its way down the street. Back at the Jengko residance Jo trying to gasin access to the residance by pasing herself off as a News repoter from the L.A. Times, meeting with somre resisstence from the middle age Fillipo woman who had answered her knocking. "Im sorry, but this is a bad time. I warn you not to bother us again, the authorities will be called the next time you do!" Just as she slammed the door in Jo's face Jason's car came slowly around the corner at the end of the block. "What the hell, there is nothing around her in termns of a body of water." Jason's eyes shifted from one veiw to another as he suddenly caugt glimopse of the name of the street upon which the house stood-Spring St. The was only the first observation that he make as he sat on the corner in his Linchon, examining the area closly he realized that the Jengko resistnce was the only inhabit home on the bloock. It akllso seemed strange to him it was the nicest house on that entire block, all the others were run dowjn and boardeed up, it was the jewl of the street. All of this suggested something.......but what?

The first task was successfully complweted, they had settled upon a clever nickname, cleaver in its most derogratory sense, though Gelbia didnt let Luitenant O'Reilly how he really felt about his new nickname. The second feat was to answer another question as to Gelbia's qualifications, this time these inquiries revolved around the systemation of his trainijng. "I felt that it would be prudant, perhaps this is a reflection on my own personal desire to excell and I hope it does not rerflect badly on me, but I was insisatant upon a full regimant utilizing all systems of training." Gelbia was still in the process of praparinfg the shuttle as he conversed with the luitenant. Gelbia had cut any further explainantions of his qualificiations as the Casptain and the Comander entered the shuttle. He would copmply to the Captains suggestion to display some of his prowis in puiloting a shuttle craft, though he felt it nesseccary to explain some of thwe drawbacks. "As Im sure you are aware in modern shuttle flight the navaiagor is nothin more then a gloriefed buttom pusher.

Everything from the specific plane of travel, computations of bearing, spatial coordinates, circumnavigation, an infinity of interstellar navagatinal specifications and termonogolgies, which I will not burdon you with now. Plainly stated, without the Astrogator a space shuttle or star vessel is reduced in signifigance to a mass of duranium and tritanium metals-An insignigianct shell left to float throuought eternity within vast epocs of space." With that said Gelbia navagated the shuttle out of its space dock and set its bearing for the nearby Yeager, before anyone realized it the shuttle's early warning collision alarms activated. All systems immediatly shut down and the shuttle halted its motion toward the USS Yeager. Gelbia then arose from the navatagors chair and turned to the Captain. "Shuttles are equipted with a fail safe proteicale which disables all computer systems in the event of a possible collision with another vessel. Also jkeep in mind what I had said about the usslessnes of any star vessel witghout its navagartion system, not to mention those systems which supply power to motivate movement. Keeping all this in mind captain would you please provide me with measurment of distance for how close you would like this shuttle to be brought next to the USS Yeager."

"We live in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.h
July 20 1866. 40‹02ŒN - 13‹09ŒE off the eastern coasst of the Adriatic Sea. Aboard the Kaiser Max, 4:35 am.
Prepeerations for the day of battle was underway by 4am, normally duty watches would begin around noon, immediatly after getting a fixed position by a solar sighting. But this day would be accupied by warfare, and therfore a fixing of position for the vessel waasnt neccessary, the Kaiser and several other vessels were already in line of sight with the ships of the Italian navy. The Kaiser was in the poistion which would ultimatly be taken up the vessel under the command of Commander Eberle, while the Kaiser awaited the Salenander, Habsburg, and especially the flagship Erzherzog Max which would form the tip of the V shaped tactical alignment. Captain Nevel Oblust paced the upper deck of the war-vessel survaying and observing the actions of his officers as they worked the crew like a well oiled chain. Stepping up the rail the Captain yelled the command. gClear for action!h Befor the call was completed the crew immediatly jumoped into the motion of thier preassigned duties. All firearms was removed from the area around the gunturrents. Boats, which could shower deadly wood splinters if hit were tightly secured; splinter nets were laid out. Thosec responcible for the deck began the process of sanding and wetting, as Scuttlebutts of water were placed at various points where the seamen could quench their thir thirst. Arms chests were deployed midship for easy access of crew weapons.

"Luitenant commander! Where are we deficiant, place her there." The captain spoke as he walked stern, a place where he would go before every battle in order to gather his thoughts and do a final mapping out of his stagities. Nevel was qioute aware that it was Captain Tegetthoff and the flagship Erzherzog Max were heading up this campainge and that no matter the outcome all honors would be going to him, at the same Nevel also regognixed the important of his and his crew's particiapation in this most important battle. The Kaiser Max was but one of seven vessels that would lead the run for the Italian flagship, the Persano. To engage with artillary and firearms, or to purposfully ram enemies were thev only options available. Captain Oblust didnt favor the second option, particuallt now that he has someone other then his crew to be concerned about. By this time the Austrian forces were beginning to align themselves into the arrow formation whixch they would maintain until the successfully breach their enemies line. The Italians had already formed in a slightly curved line soime 20 miles off of Porto Comisa, these six ships formed the main linec of defense for the Island of Vis. The commande ship was possitioned behind the Ironclad vessel Faa di Bruno which lay at the upper most point of the Italian defensive line. The Italian commander of the flagship Persano had palnned to tak on the Erzherzog Max, but in doing so they had left a considerable gap between the first line of six vessels and the top most portion of thier battleline. This second lined xconsisted of three vessls the Acono, Castel, and the ironclad Vecca. Back abord the Kaiser Max the 1st liutenant was assigning the Captains sister Rose with a crew position. Captain Nevel Oblust had already suggested a possible assignment, taking this into considferation Liutnenant would place her a member of the Armourer's crew. "Crewman Odell! our idoit armoures mate has come down with gaol-fever and had become incompacitated. Your new possition, indeed your first possibtion, will be replace hiom as a member of the armouiros crew. You task will be to hand out firearms to the men should we be forced to board an emenyis vessel." The liutenant stepped aside. "Now, to your duties!"

Time was running on and soon the inevidible battle between the Austrian and Italian navel fleets, each derternmined to protect thier interest in a piece of land in the eastern Adriaic sea. The stakes were high for both sides, but especially for one man inparticualr; the distance of loved ones from any battle can be a comnfort to those who must fight. Captain Nevel Oblust had all his family with him and in direct conflict, his enemies were many and strong and his vessel was sailing qiuckly toward the awaiting danger. Everything was ready, the brink of battle was almost met, all that rmained was a final tighing upp of the battelline, and then the last signal from the flagship would be run up the mast and the engagment would begin. Captain Oblust and the his 1st mate were on the upper deck talking to one another, they had recieved information which assured them that their fleet had the tacticle advantage. "Look at that lauitenant, a perfect advantage." Nevel said as he stretched out his righthand and pointed to the odd battleline of the Itailian fleet. "Advantage captain? I think, a perfect slaughter is more appopriate." The 1st luitjnant replied. "Yes, if they dont sure uyp that vast gap in thier defense thery will be escorting us to an unassialed and victoriuus end." The litenant then turned toward his right and focused his attention on the second group of seven vessels. "Dont worry litenant. Now, I may be breaking protocal but I can assure you that we have nothing to fear from Albini and his bunch. I have it on good word that he and di Affondatore are rivals for the admiration of the queen of thier troubled lands." Nevel went up to the lutiant and placed his arm on the young man's left shoulder, speaking to him a quiter more serious tone. "Our main concern in this forth coming battle are the Persano and the San Martina. Captain Affondatore commands the deadliest vessel in the whole engagment, while the San Martina is reporrted to possess epireiental guns, the most powerful ever put to use upon the seas. Notice how the attempt to hid these vessels, with the San Martino hidden between the other five vessels, and look how cowardly the Persano eases back behind the line." We mneed to take out these two vessels in order to suiccure a complate victory, nothing less then totoal destruction of these powerhouses with survice. Things have been set in motion to secure us this victory." The captains words simulataniously reassured and terrified the 1st luitenant, he had leaned against the rail when somthing estonishing accurred. A massive explosion of water bursted forth from beneath the Maria and the Portagallo, as if cast out of the seas by some unseen hand the two vessels flew stright into the air and then crashed back down to the water, the wooden vessels were obliteherated upon impact.

The two female hunters were far too busy battling the gritexque Analan spirit to notice Jason's qiuckly approaching veheicle, the breaking and smashing sounds of the houses interior drowned out the schreeching of his wheels as the Lincholnn came to a stop only inches from colliding with the structure. "OK, what the hell do I do now." The liteiture seemed to be particually vagiue as to how one ashould deal with the Analan, though Jsson did rememnber something about thier young as a way to get to the spirit-creature itself. The only problem was where to locate this creatures child, was this the house that the beast was staying or did he and the other hunters interupped something when they showed up upon its doorstep. Now that Json was up close he was able to hear the commotion which was no doubt even louder on the inside, its a wonder why mno one had called the authorities, but then Jason remembered the vacant houses on this street-No one to call for help. Making his way to the back door Jason let himself into the home, luckily the door was not only unlocked but slightly ajar. As Jason cerpt through the darkened house he tried to remmber what ghe had heard reagarding ways to dispatch an Analan, all he could come up with what he had learneed from rumor. It made sense in a way, the Analan were obsessive when it xcame to thier children, thier whole existance revolved around aqiuring offspring through thier unnatural ways. The sounds of struggle, which seemed to be coming from the living room, had suddenly stoped, he then heard one girl call the other. Jason had driven away and therefore never learned thier names, as a result he wasnt able to distinqiuse who was calling who. Hearing one of hem being refereed to as blondie help a bit in distinquing them, it was suffivicnt enough; he now had an idea of who was wehere. The two hunters had apparetnly grouped together and Jason was about to join them when suddenly he heard the light sounds of crying-A baby?
