Directed by Shugo Fujii Chainsaw Massacre of Japanese horror-minus the chainsaw. This film can be viewed as the Asian ancestor of the old "shot on video" horror movie of the early 1980's.
Plot
Family is the source of all evil. Chiyo, an old woman and her granddaughter, Yuki, are the sole survivors of a horrendous crime which wipes out an entire family. They find solace under the roof of far-removed relatives. The family's son, confined to a wheelchair, has a terrible premonition when the two women arrive, which will be verified in the most horrifying way.

I finally watched this film and I must say it was pretty good. It was damn disturbing, creepy, sadistic. Its one of those horror films that you go into not expecting much, in fact your pretty certain that its going to suck. Only to finish watching the film and regretting that you waited so long to see it.
The DVD was nice, it had a commentary by the director, very funny, informative, easy to understand. The director of the film had lived in America for many years prior to making this film.
The main character of the young teenager in the wheelchair definitely had a 'Franklin' whiny voice thing going on, just try to image Franklin from TCM as an Japanese guy.
