Fright is a 1972 British horror film. It is often seen as a proto-slasher in that it helped to lay the groundwork for the future slasher genre of horror.
Young babysitter Amanda arrives at the Lloyd house to spent the evening watching over their young son. Not long after the Lloyds leave a series of frightening occurances begin happening in the gloomy old house pushing Amanda's nerves to the brink. The real terror begins, when out of nowhere the child's birth father returns to the house after escaping from a mental instution.
