A 1976 horror film that is also known as Holy Terror and Communion. It centers around death of a young girl and the unlikely identity of her killer. Starring Brooke Shields in an early role.
Alice Spages is a withdrawn 12 year old girl living with her mother and her younger sister, Karen. Even though she is the oldest daughter, Alice is often overshadowed by her younger sister. But things change forever when Karen is found brutally murdered just prior to her first communion, with Alice as the unlikely suspect. Initially many doubt that a young girl would be capable of such acts, but as more and more victims arise, Alice becomes the most likely culprit.

I watched this with Fire the other night, while I can't speak for her, personally I didn't find this to be a Slasher film. Its more of a straight forward horror film, I just think that a Slasher film should be more then just someone with a knife killing people. It may very well be influenced by 70s Slashers but I don't think its a slasher itself.
Cast your votes, Ill abide by the members decision, if enough of you feel that this should be included in the main 70's slasher board I will add it back in.
What do you think?

I think this one isn't an out and out slasher either but I do think that it has some elements that make a slasher, but in the end I think it just doesn't all line up to be classified as one.

Not at all, I don't think this is a Slasher film. it was fun to watch but many knife kills and it was a straight forward stuff. Not a close up and surrounding a body count.
