Evil Laugh is Independent film/Horror film/Splatter/Slasher, that touched on a Tongue-in-cheek approach with avid Fangoria reader Barney providing the voice of reason, who is self-aware of the notions of slashers; in other words, The Dos & Don'ts of slasher folklore (explained in great detail in the Scream film series) are touched upon here.
An old orphanage has just been rebuilt after it was mysteriously burned over a decade ago to the ground following accusations of child molestation and abuse by the main moody carer, Martin, whose own father committed suicide out of shame. Martin could not prove his innocence, and suffered a psychotic break which subsequently led to him systematically slaughter the other occupants of the orphanage, including the orphans, particularly the supposed accusers.

Again another film that I love and have on dvd and vhs. The film stars 70's tv show celeb Scott Baio's brother Steven and was directed by Dominck Brascia who was actor at the time and was the fat kid that gets murdered with an axe early on in Friady the 13th part 5.
Wes Craven or Kevin Williamson stole some ideas from the film for Scream easily in it.

Did he get chocolate all over the film ;D Hey that was really out of line! Yeah I enjoy this one too.I really must pick up the DVD cause my tape is pretty well worn by now.My favourite scene? Death by microwave. With the door open ! One of the Fangoria's that we see in the film has F13 5 on the cover. Nice plug! and 'Joey' had earlier appeared in the pseudo slasher They're Playing With Fire.

Watched this last night and it was pretty good. I was surprised I enjoyed it better than I thought I would. Couldn't help but notice the similarity between its ending and the frist two Fridays.
