The Slumber Party Massacre is a 1982 slasher film directed by Amy Holden Jones and written by feminist activist Rita Mae Brown.
School's out - everyone heads to the beach - a typical vacation. However, a mysterious murderer armed with a drill is killing people, yet at the beginning nobody notices him 'till it's too late. Meanwhile, a group of teenage girls decide to have a slumber party, and some of their boyfriends drop by. Soon, people begin to disappear. Then, an all out drill massacre begins.

This is an ultimate example of early 80s campy slasher goodness. A killer complete with a not so suttle weapon that couldn't be less Fruedian inspired stalks barely dressed girls that are all alone, I mean that is practicaly the textbook definition of a slasher. This film has a few of its own WTF moments, including a scene where the killer is apparently talking a nap in the living room, even though there are still people alive in the house. I've seen it a few times and am still trying to figure that scene out.
