One of the most interesting questions about the Halloween franchise is the true identity of Michael Myers. There are many ambiguities surrounding his origins and actions, the first of which is the question as to how Michael escaped from the sanitarium. Was he let go by someone in the hospital? The answer to this is answered of course if you follow the whole Thorn thing. As we come to discover that the head of Smith's Grove was the one responsible for letting Michael out.
But the later films are not the only places where we find suggestions of something very odd going on, in the first film Michael achieved this goal, and why did he bother to let the other patients out. Secondly why did the head of the hospital let those other patients out, assuming that he did let them out, as suggested by the later films. What was the point? why not just let Michael out?
Everyone is of the opinion that Michael was a normal human being in the first film and thees same people will argue that he was at the end of the first film, going into the second (though somehow never explaining how he survived being stabbed several times 'once in the eye I might add' and shot at least 6 times) oh and don't forget the bloody imprint that he left behind after falling of the balcony.
How is it that this normal human being is able to appear out of thin air, and be able to catch up with his victims, even though he never runs?
In the beginning of the first film someone apparently steals certain items from the hardware store, some "KNIVES" and.......did the sheriff just say........Halloween mask, or Halloween "MASKS"
I'm sure there are several more of these ambiguities to be found throughout the series, so what do you think?
